BWH Hotels Human Rights Policy Statement

Consistent with these core values, BWH Hotels acknowledges and respects the standards contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and it endeavors to conduct its business in a manner that is consistent with fundamental human rights. BWH Hotels core values, practices, culture, and history embody a commitment to ethical business practices and good corporate citizenship. 

Additionally, BWH Hotels hotels are contractually obligated to abide by all applicable laws and by BWH Hotels standards.

Protection of Employee's Rights

BWH Hotels is committed to upholding the rights of employees and aims to provide a safe and healthy workplace. 

BWH Hotels supports the elimination of all forms of forced, bonded, or compulsory labor. It supports the elimination of employment discrimination and promotes and embraces diversity in all aspects of its operations. BWH Hotels makes employment-related decisions based on individual qualifications and ability to perform the job requirements, without regard to race (including hair textures and hair styles associated with race), color, religion, religious creed (including religious dress and grooming practices), national origin, ancestry, alienage or citizenship status, age, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy status, genetic information, uniformed service or veteran status, marital status or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, provincial, or local laws.

Protection of Children's Rights

BWH Hotels condemns all forms of child exploitation. BWH Hotels does not recruit child labor and supports the elimination of exploitative child labor and legislation enacted to prevent and punish the crime of sexual exploitation of children. BWH Hotels will work to raise awareness concerning such exploitation, including through its continued partnership with World Vision, an organization committed to fighting the exploitation of children, and will cooperate with law enforcement authorities to address any instances of exploitation about which BWH Hotels becomes aware.
