Santa Monica State Beach

East of the Los Angeles metropolitan area lay a sunny, sandy getaway known as the Santa Monica State Beach. A California State Park, this is a two-mile stretch of shore found along the Pacific Coast Highway in the beautiful city of Santa Monica. Traveling with small children? Seaside Lagoon is the place for you. Set in the beautiful Redondo Beach off Harbor Drive, Seaside Lagoon welcomes guests from Memorial Day Weekend to early September. Enjoy the sun and sand of Redondo Beach's King Harbor with Seaside Lagoon daily from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Seaside Lagoon is known for its gentle, filtered waters coming in from its nearby salt water facility. Swimming and sunbathing are more than encouraged, as well are picnics and rousing games of volleyball.
