During your holiday visit to Greenville, be sure to enjoy an evening of high arts and culture. From November 29th to December 4th the Peace Center in downtown Greenville will be hosting live productions of An American in Paris. This Tony Award-winning musical will delight and dazzle the senses.
You can treat the kiddos to a fun evening at the Greenville Zoo. From October 21st to 30th you can check out the 30th Annual Boo in the Zoo, one of Greenville’s most popular Halloween events. Designed, ideally, for kids 12 years old and younger, Boo in the Zoo will feature trick-or-treating, candy giveaways, games, an un-haunted house, and plenty more.
Don’t pass – or for that matter, punt – on your chance to see some of the very best college football in the country. The city of Clemson, just minutes outside of Seneca, is home to the Clemson University Tigers, who play all home games at Memorial Stadium. This fall, the Tigers will host a number of marquee opponents. The South Carolina State Bulldogs come to town on September 17th, the Pitt Panthers visit on November 12th, and the Tigers will close out their 2016 campaign against the South Carolina Gamecocks, a major in-state rival, on November 26th.
For outdoor enthusiasts, explore the Clemson Experimental Forest trail system near Clemson. Offering three major sections – Fant's Grove, Issaqueena/Keowee Heights, and Todd's Creek – the working forest is used for teaching and research, as well as recreation. Visitors to the CEF Trail System may hike, bike, horseback ride, birdwatch, picnic, fish, hunt, and kayak or canoe their way around Lake Issaqueena and Lake Hartwell.

Parks & Recreation in the Mountain Region
Located in Greenville, Paris Mountain State Park is a popular spot for hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming. The historic bathhouse, built in the 1930s, serves as the Park Center and offers historical exhibits and nature programs. Kings Mountain State Park features miles of hiking trails, horseback riding facilities, two fishing lakes, boat rentals, and a Living History Farm. A replica of Piedmont farms in the 1930s, includes several buildings, gardens, and animals.

A popular destination since 1960, the Greenville Zoo in Cleveland Park is easily accessible from Main Street.
