As a sports fan, your travels through Florida should be met with the excitement of the NHL, NBA, MLB, and NFL. Florida is home to top pro sports teams like the Orlando Magic, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Lightning.

From west central Florida, to the Keys, and even northeast Florida near Jacksonville, you'll find an array of games and matches to check out.

A summer visit to Miami yields the fun of Major League Baseball – head to Marlins Park and watch the Miami Marlins hit, pitch, and steal their way to the pennant.

In Tampa, get your baseball fix with a visit to Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays. A relatively new team, the Rays kicked off their first season in 1998, and were originally known as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, but dropped "Devil" after the 2007 season.

When you plan a Florida visit for the fall, you'll want to check out all the football action – the Dolphins, Jaguars, and Buccaneers entertain Florida football fanatics. Sun Life Stadium is home to the Dolphins in Miami, while the Buccaneers play home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Jacksonville Jaguars play their home games at EverBank Field.

The fall is also an excellent time in Florida to attend any number NBA and NHL games. South, in the Keys, you'll want to check out the Miami Heat as they play at AmericanAirlines Arena. Travel to Orlando and visit the Amway Center, home of the Orlando Magic. Check out a Magic game from nearby cities like Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, or Tavares.

Hockey fans make their way to the BB&T Center in Sunrise, a charming and quaint city just north of Miami – it's home to the Florida Panthers. In west central Florida, visit Tampa and nearby cities like Sarasota, Auburndale, or Plant City – then head for the Tampa Bay Times Forum, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
