See the Sunshine State Along These Famed Tours
Hit the road and see the Emerald Coast this summer, have a crisp adventure in a famed theme park this winter, and just plain enjoy yourself any time in between.
Why not start with the Florida Panhandle? This is a loop tour; we’ll cover it both starting and ending in Pensacola primarily following U.S. 98 along the coast for a while, along with some offshoots that take you along barrier islands and keys brimming with white sandy beaches.
Jacksonville is rich in history, and loaded with premier attractions – it's also the launching point for a tour of North Central Florida. You'll cruise through diverse and fun cities like Starke, Gainesville, and Ocala as you make your way to Crystal Springs. Take the kids over to Adventure Landing Amusement Park, visit the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, or catch a Florida Gators football game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Now try the Atlantic 1 Alternate Tour. The “A1A” is a legendary road in Florida, and one of the more unique highways in the country due to its designation, its location stringing together major beach towns, and even immortalized in numerous songs.
Don't forget the Tamiami Trail. Completed in 1928, the Tamiami Trail stands as one of Florida’s – and America’s – great highways. Built across wide waterways, through punishing swampland no vehicle could previously cross, and connecting two of Florida’s most major cities with plenty of points in between, this road shows you an incredible range of what Florida has to offer.
Along the eastern shore of Florida, from Sebastian to Hallandale Beach, you'll discover a wide range of excellent attractions, stunning beaches, and charming seaside cities and towns. In Port St. Lucie, be sure to enjoy an afternoon at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. In Jupiter, head for Roger Dean Stadium for exciting Grapefruit League spring training games. There's a wealth of excitement along the FL coast – see it for yourself.
Now let’s explore ‘keechobee to the Keys! From the largest freshwater lake in the Sunshine State to the glorious scenery of U.S. Route 1, this tour of southern Florida is hard matched. Along the way, we’ll see small-town museums, the tops spots of Miami, Everglades National Park, and historic sites of Key West.
