Everglades National Park
There’s no other ecosystem in the world where alligators and crocodiles live together than in the Everglades National Park. As the largest subtropical wilderness in the US, The Everglades is recognized globally as a Wetland of International Importance, a World Heritage Site, and an International Biosphere Reserve, one of three places on the planet with all three classifications.
Plan a trip to southern Florida and hop on an airboat to explore this rare destination. Zoom through the shallow marshes and miles of swampland to view wildlife like gators, deer, the Florida Panther, and manatees. Take advantage of the Shark Valley Tram Tours through the River of Grass, or a tour of the Ten Thousand Islands. Kayak, canoe, and fish in the waterways, or hike and bike through endless boardwalk trails, all while exploring the nature that surrounds you. Whether you seek a wild ride on the water or a low-key spot to catch fish, the choice is yours in the Everglades.
