Empire State Building

One of the most iconic buildings in New York, the Empire State Building is a fixture of the city skyline.

This Art Deco-style structure was built in 1931 and stood at 1,454 feet – making it the world's tallest building from 1931 to 1972. This New York City landmark is listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Visit the Empire State Building Observatory at 1,250 feet and enjoy incredible views of NYC from the 102nd floor. Make a stop on the 86th floor to go outside on the 360-degree deck at 1,050 feet.

While visiting, listen to the audio tour for sine history of the building, and stroll through the Dare to Dream exhibit on the 80th floor.

Empire State Plaza

Completed in 1976, the Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza – more commonly known as Empire State Plaza – is located in downtown Albany, New York.

Comprised of eight buildings, the complex most notably features a uniquely shaped performing arts theater and meeting center called the Egg, and Corning Tower – the tallest building in New York outside of New York City.

Visitors to the plaza will find numerous memorials, including the New York State Fallen Firefighters Memorial.

Throughout the plaza, the Empire State Plaza Art Collection features over 90 large paintings, as well as sculptures and tapestries.
