Ellis Island Part of Statue of Liberty
Found on the Hudson River, the Ellis Island Part of Statue of Liberty National Monument is managed by the National Park Service in the NYC metro area.
Reached by Statue Cruises Ferry in New York and New Jersey, the famed Ellis Island is one of the National Parks of New York Harbor.
Guests may explore the Ellis Island Immigration Museum, search the American Family Immigration History Center database, or catch the 30-minute film “Island of Hope, Island of Tears.”
Tours can be ranger-led – including the Hard Hat Tours of the Hospital Complex – or self-guided and audio in several languages.
