Florida's Ormond Beach is the site for The Maverick. This casually comfortable, beach resort provides the pleasures of a sought after Florida vacation. Located in a quiet, family-oriented part of the Daytona resort area, the hotel offers vacation-goers close proximity to all of Daytona's great attractions, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Established in 1960 and most recently renovated 2007, the Maverick offers 138 studios and one-bedroom apartments styled in tropical décor. All rooms face the broad, sandy beach.

An onsite pool and Jacuzzi provide more water enjoyment. The hotel's activities director can assist in arranging everything from dinner cruises to deep sea fishing excursions while on-site activities abound from jewellery-making classes to bingo games. The Daytona Beach area offers virtually dozens of entertainment opportunities. On the water, there's deep-sea fishing, jet ski riding, canoeing and even river cruises and casino gambling.
