My wife and I spent a few days in and near Geneva (Annecy, Viviers du Lac, etc). In Geneva we stayed at Bristol Hotel near the lake. Everything was excellent. Greeting us at the reception was reassuring and nice. Room was spacious, clean and splendidly comfortable. Tea room/bar was great with good selection of teas and dessert. We did not eat the restaurant but it looked good to us. Service was good. Location is perfect. Walking distance to all Geneva destinations, such as the lake, the flower clock, restaurants and shopping. The way our trip to the airport was scheduled and the ease of check out was good. Highly recommend this hotel.

I went to Geneva for business and decided to come early to spend some time in the area. I found a good rate for Hotel Bristol and it ended up being a great place to stay. It is just a half a block from Lake Geneva (or Lac Leman) and an easy walk to the historic part of the city. The room was nice and good sized for Europe especially. The bathroom was clean and the shower was awesome. I had room service one night and it was also very good. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The only problem was that the room was kind of hot. I had to sleep with the window open and some of the noise from outside was distracting. Overall, I would recommend staying here if you can find a good rate because Switzerland is expensive.

I stayed there 4 days and am extremly satisfied with my choice, the hotel is so conviniently located, and all points in the city are ease to reach. The room was so nice, as well as staff who let us in immediately and offered an upgraded room. The room service was really good, and in general the staff was so kind and helpful. It was my fifth visit to Geneva, but I will certainly remember this one. I am extremly satisfied with all aspexts of my staying there. I travel a lot and carefully select my accommodation, so what I am going to say really means a lot: I highly recommend hotel Bristol in Geneva.

Hotel Birstol is a great value for the money. Single beds as are most of these type hotels, nice rooms, clean, great breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Will stay there again.

Would recommend this hotel it is perfect. If you are going skiing do not buy your passes until you het there. Go to train station there and get pass you save a fortune
