The rooms are simple but the restaurant is excellent

posted April 24, 2012

Basic rooms, clean and functional, perfect for the business traveler. 5 min walk from the Gothenburg airport which is really convenient. The restaurant in the hotel is a must. The food is delicious and service is attentive, pricing about 540 Ske/pp. Flights start at 620am, thus the hotel offers buffet breakfast included in the room price starting at 5am.. well thought out and appreciated.

Best hotel for business

If you look for the best hotel for business, 2 min. Walk from the terminal but very quiet rooms, big and clean. Good restaurant in the hotel.

ideal for one night

posted March 30, 2012

I have to travel a lot for my job and I see a lot of hotels all over Europe. I mus say that this is one of the most basic hotels. The strangest things are the doors which are opening to the other side and not the usual way as all over the world. Very spacious bathroom with beatiful tiles but a very fragile bath tub. Standard beds with sort of gardenchair covers as top layer of the bed. Typical crew hotel and transit hotel if you have a flight the day after. Great breakfast.

I worried for nothing

posted February 10, 2012

When I tried to make a last minute reservation I was a little worried when they said that the only thing they had available was a "combination room" in the old part of the hotel. Coworkers had told me good things about the hotel so I took a chance. Turns out a combination room is one that can be used for small meetings and when they are full they use the Murphy Bed in the room to use it for a guest room. It was actually very nice with a leather sofa and two chairs and bookcases full of books. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was fine for one night. The staff is friendly and the hotel in general very clean and modern. Even the restaurant was very good. Two things kept it from getting five stars in my mind; no coffee in the room, not even a water kettle and instant coffee, also, there is no mini fridge which I use to keep medicine cold. Also the combination room did not have an iron or actual closet but neither is a real problem for a one night stay, especially since they will bring an iron and ironing board. The convenience of this hotel is the best part and pretty much an ideal airport hotel.

Swedish charme

posted February 9, 2012

Charming staff was welcoming me and treated me obliging. The hotel is about 300 m from the international terminal and can easely be reached by foot. There is also a shuttle available for those who need it. The room was large, clean and quiet. Interior looked new and up to date. WIFI was fast, free of charge, even for two devices. Continental and swedish breakfast starting at 5 am with a wide variety of good food.
