Nice Hotel, good location, but i am not sure i would rate customer service especially as on the first day there and only about 2 hours in the country my friends bag was stolen in the hotel at the reception area. My friend didnt feel that anyone at the hotel cared, bearing in mind that all her money was gone, i thought she may be offered even a complimentary dinner, but we didtnt even get a call to ask if we were ok. Very disappointed as this was the start of our holiday and could have really spoilted it.

Stayed for one night prior to boarding a cruise. We arrived and our room was available prior to check in time which was great. Angel in the front desk was very helpful and also spoke fluent English. We had a balcony room leading to the main avenue with a great view, spacious with twin beds and very comfortable (room 105). Free WiFi available for 30 minutes and if time runs out just go back to the front desk and they'll accommodate. Just cross the street and you are able to catch the hop on hop off bus or walk two blocks and you are in La Ramblas. I had checked out of the hotel and when I had boarded the cruise ship I noticed I had left my gold chain in the room. When I returned a week later. I stopped in and spoke with the front desk clerk he searched on their computer system and my chain had actually been turned in to lost and found. This piece of jewelry belonged to my father who is deceased so it is of great sentimental value to me. So need I say more about Avenida Palace. Great place, great service and very nice people.

This was a post cruise hotel,located so centrally to everything,literally walk out the front door and you are next to the metro,bus touristic is just a few steps to the left on Paseo Gracia,staff very nice,helpful, lots of restaurants right around the corner,interesting Bar called the Obama African bar next door. Room we had was a large suite,with lots of room,large bath. The only thing was missing are the wash cloths, this is not unusual in Europe,I did not know that. This price also includes full breakfast in the morning which was wonderful,oh I dont want to forget to mention the University is very close by .Great place for meetings and conferences. WiFi is in the lounge just ask for a sign in code at the front desk. a lovely place loved it... Ilona Bohm-Florida ,USA

Location matters and this hotel is perfectly located. Traditional 4 star European hotel - and a bit of faded grandeur. Close to main square (so take the airport bus). Good service. Comfortable, good sized rooms and good breakfast (included in the rate).

I have stayed at your place for the 1st time in Finland. The location was great. The room was big enough and really clean. I would like to go back there once again. Also the price for the hotel was awesome. Look forward to staying there again in the future.
