Really good hotel with some cute extras (nice toiletries including cool rubber duck, ipod dock/cd player -- why don't all hotels have this now -- and internet access -- not free as we'd expected, but still handy). Rooms are a little on the small side, but the views overlooking the square and location are second to none in this lovely civilized city, near cafes, stylish shops and nice walks. the hotel doesn't have parking, but there's a very reasonable (and the cleanest best lit in the world) underground carpark a block away by the river. We found this hotel to be excellently located for trips around Limburg and into Belgium (Spa, Liege) and Germany. The only problem was the receptionist not having a record of our reservation with ebookers, meaning that we had to pay for our stay a second time and then claim money back from ebookers (along with extra amounts to cover currency exchange and fees for going over credit card limit).

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is amazing, in the heart of Maastricht, great for a shopping weekend. :) The hotel was very funky and clean, with friendly staff that really cared about the details. When we arrived we got a Derlon bath duck en when we returned at night there were little brownies on our bedside. Great stuff! Would definetly stay here again.

Cannot beat the location. All top shops, restaurants etc. within walking range. Did not use my rental car once during our entire stay. Rooms are nice, staff is great, bath rooms mediocre (no separate shower but an uncomfortable bath tub with a malfunctioning shower curtain). Hotel is definitely trendy but without loosing its guest / user friendliness. You’ll find some cozy terraces in front of the hotel and Maastricht’s best restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. Maastricht is fabulous and Hotel Derlon the perfect place to stay.

we came 2 minutes ago from Maastricht,it was a nice trip.about derlon,it is quite good hotel,near the center,very modern,in 2 blocks is the street with good shops[versache,armani and others.in 2 minutes is very good italian restaurant.so have pleasure.see you in derlon.
