I travel to Seoul a couple of times a year for work and try to stay at the Lotte when I go. The hotel is a great location and the service is absolutely impeccable. I usually stay in the New Wing and the rooms are a great size and last time was upgraded for a reason I don't know. There was a separate sitting room which was great because I was spending the day working from the hotel. Room service was impeccable. I also used the business centre, which was very small but had all the services needed to conduct a meeting. Will definitely be staying again.

Very nice hotel with big rooms and all the necessary amenities that are expected with a five star hotel. I especially like the coffee/tea cup in the room.

I travel more than 300 days in a year. As a result I have had the highest status of Starwood, Hyatt and Hilton groups for several years. But none of them come close to providing the impeccable, professional yet warmth and friendly service that the Lotte provides to its business travellers. What makes this property shine among all its peers in Asia is the consistently efficient service that is delivered with a personal touch by Ms. Choi, the manager of the executive floor and her wonderful staff who have made this literally my "home away from home" for the past many years. Right from the airport pickup to the registration process, the best-stocked business lounge in the world, a breakfast worth rising early and fighting the jet lag for, bathrooms and fixtures that beat the luxury hotels anywhere in the world, to the sign-out and convenience of having the frequent airport limo bus right at the door, this hotel delivers the highest value for the precious travel dollars that you can find anywhere in the world. Their holiday greeting card which is signed by all the staff of the executive floor - every year - adorns my office desk for many months during the year and is a friendly reminder to me that its not the "brand", not the glass and steel, not the designer fixtures or toiletries, not the expensive marketing campaigns BUT the people who make the ultimate difference between just another soulless hotel and the world-class experience that the Lotte provides.

I have stayed here a few times, last time in March 2012. This is a real 5 star hotel, all is perfect. The service is impeccable, and you will struggle to find more polite staff, anywhere. The hotel is grand and perfectly clean and just very nice. The rooms are big and equipped with whatever you may need, plus a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is awesome, with both a shower and a big bath tub. You have several dining and breakfast options. I have tried all 3 breakfast options; the Italian cafe breakfast is only so so, so instead opt for the large resturant with the breakfast buffet (plan for a looong breakfast as you will find so much good food here) or the Japanese breakfast, where you will get a set menu served on a tray. This one (the Japanese) is also very good! I dined in the Korean restaurant once. We had a set menu with 7 or 9 dishes (first time on Korea) and it was all new type of food for us, but we enjoyed every single dish. Just great! Mind you, it is an expensive restaurant. The location of the hotel is great. You can get here easy from Incheon Airport with the KAL Limousine Bus. Very convenient -- after you have your luggage, just go to the first information desk you see and ask where this bus departs from. Buy a ticket at the bus gate, and jump on! It takes you to the hotel entrance. You also have the metro close by, and if you wanna go shopping, the hotel is joined with a huge mall. You are also close to some palaces and areas with lots of restaurants and night life. If you are here for business, it is a good chance you have meetings with clients/suppliers in this area as there are many office buildings here. If your budget can afford it, do not hesitate to stay here - it is simply perfect!

This particular Lotte Hotel remains my favorite in Seoul. The location is great for business, shopping and tourist attractions, the service continuous to be great and the rooms are well furnished and more spacious than those in most other hotels in this category close by. I like to -stay in the new wing with its special reception on the 14th floor. Any rooms above the 20th floor have great views. The room service menu is a bit limited and expensive but who needs to eat in the room when there are so many eating choices for every taste and in every price category within very short reach. If you're in a hurry there is an excellent food court with really good mostly Korean options adjacent to the Lotte Department store, the hotel itself, the adjacent Lotte Department Store and many other places around offer excellent Korean, Asian and international restaurant choices - and there is the interesting option of buying high end Korean food items - to test, for in-between snacks and as interesting "souvenirs" for friends and colleagues. Naturally one should explore and wander far beyond the Lotte complex but when you're pressed for time or a little reluctant to buy at the great local markets here is an option to experience Korea in a less challenging environment.
