My husband and I were fortunate to spend 5 days at the Miramare and I would recommend the hotel without hesitation. We have travelled extensively and there is something very special about the Miramare. Whether it's the staff (absolutely everyone could not have tried harder to make our stay enjoyable), the location overlooking the water (that view!), the hotel (renovated with care to marry modern conveniences yet staying true to the original period design), or the town itself (countless number of restaurants that serve delicious food). The staff, without exception, are extremely friendly and accommodating. I think that is a reflection of the culture of the hotel - they truly want guests to feel special and enjoy their stay. There were so many staff that we came in to contact with that I won't call out individuals since I might miss some. Suffice to say, from the moment we arrived (the doormen), to the reception staff, to the concierges, the restaurant/bar, cleaning, pool, and spa - everyone, without exception, were professional and wanting to enhance our stay. If you are planning a trip to the Ligure region - stay in Santa Margherita, and definitely stay at the Miramare.

My wife and I have just spent three days at the beautiful Grand Miramare Hotel and were delighted with what we found. The ageless style and grace of the property juxtaposed with all the needs of a modern traveller was seamless. It enhanced our whole experience in Santa Margherita and surrounds and the hotel is most appropriately set in this magnificent part of the world. Would stay again without hesitation.

We stayed just the one night at this lovely hotel but had a wonderful experience. We travelled with our two daughters and my elderly mother. The hotel were able to make up one of the rooms with three beds while giving my husband and I an upgrade with a room facing the sea. Facilities were great. Good sized bathrooms, fluffy robes,nice collection of shampoos,body lotions, comfortable beds. Our rate included breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and a complimentary lunch or dinner which was fantastic as we were tired after a day exploring the town so was nice to bundle the kids down to the restaurant for a quick meal before putting them into bed. Will definitely stay here again and spend a further night or two to more thoroughly explore the museums and gardens of this beautiful part of the world.

Spent the last 3 days of our vacation at this incredible hotel and would stay here again! Had the room with the view of the bay, it was worth it. Great bed, bathroom and service. The grounds are great, take the short hike up to the observation platform for a wonderful view of sea and be sure and enjoy the private beach across the street!

This hotel is old world beautiful. The staff is exceptional and the location can't be beat. The pool is amazing to. I've stayed here 3 times and will never stay anywhere else when I come here. Amazing!!!!!
