Pleasant place

Overall a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and OK pool, although the outside of the hotel looks a bit bland and tired. Attentive staff. However the pool closed quite frequently for up to 24 hours at a time for functions and ‘maintenance’. Check what wireless signals you can pick up as you may not need to pay for internet access. A good breakfast buffet was included in our room rate but otherwise the restaurant was very expensive (compared to other options in India). Not much in the area unless you walk to Khan market. However there were plenty of auto-rickshaws always waiting outside to take you around, pay ‘as you like.’

Beautiful....but be prepared to spend

I disagree with all those who claim it is far, it is very central, close to all touristy things... It is clean, with phenomenal service...however, on average things are ten times more expensive here than outside the walls of the hotel, from food to laundry to yoga to Internet. And ...well the wifi is very inconsistent. The staff are wonderful and supportive.

High-end hotel, I attended here as a person invited to the conferences

High-end hotel, I attended here as a person invited to the conferences. Later, I stayed in this hotel. I am very impressed with the level of service and how much this property is well maintained. Huge equipment rooms, fully deserves the 5 stars

Pretty nice.

The rooms are clean, updated. Restaurants within the hotel are also very good. Would recommend trying the mock dhaba restaurant. The food was typical north Indian and delicious. Hotel is in close proximity to government buildings.

Great Location, good staff

Claridges hotel in New Delhi, was a wonderful experience. Great service, great food and close proximity to both the metro and Khan Market made it central and accessible. We ate dinner one night in the Indian restaurant which managed to stand out from all the others we had been too – albeit a bit more expensive. The one problem with the hotel is that they close facilities for other purposes. The closed bar in the day did not matter, but the pool did. In 40 degree heat, closing a pool without an alternative in a 5 star hotel is not good! (Even if the reason is valid!). (2 days of 8!) Vineet Kapoor, duty manager made a special effort to make us feel at home in the 8 day stay.
