This was my second time at The Claridges, Surajkund and my stay was excellent. The check in was quick, and the front office assistant was very helpful in answering my barrage of questions. The room I stayed in was a pool facing one, in the tower block. It offers a good view and the room itself is spacious with a large bathroom. The thing that I appreciate most about this hotel is that great attention has been paid to the smaller details such as well thought out plug points for our gizmos, night lights, positioning of amenities in the bathroom, etc., Food is also good. I ordered room service and the food came within 15 minutes and was served impeccably. The breakfast also comprised a good spread. In all, an excellent hotel, I would love to go back to again.

Have stayed 3 times and this is great five star hotel near Delhi and Faridabad specially to relax on the weekend. The only problem I think is they have only 2 restaurants one Indian and other coffee shop. They should add one more may Chinese, Italian.....the rooms are beautiful. The Spa is the one the best in Asia. They recently received an award for their SPA. Staff is ok sometimes stubborn and not very polite. Swimming pool is really huge. One tip - always ask for an upgrade. They are never full specially their higher category rooms.

Stayed here as I had meetings in Faridabad. The entrance of the hotel is pretty grand and the interiors and rooms are also pleasing to the eye. But lot of small things spoil the overall experience. Reception is a long walk from the building entrance. I had to enquire twice to reach there. Power went off more than 3 times in 2 days and the UPS kept only the room TV in operation, the rest of the room became pitch dark. Also service is slow in the hotel and restaurants. Food at the Dhaba style restaurant was strictly okay. There was a sameness in all the dishes. However all said and done , best option if you have business in Faridabad. Lets you escape the terrible Delhi traffic.

I have stayed at the Claridges Surajkund twice over the last four months, both times for corporate events. The best part about the place was their room each time I visited. There was a nice balcony with an open (though not scenic by any stretch) view: the problem is the weather doesn’t allow anyone to use it during ten of the twelve months. The rooms were also spacious in general and well – appointed. Food is ordinary, and on most days we had dinner outside the hotel. The rooms where we had the conferences are mostly windowless, and some have really low ceilings that make for rather painful stay over the course of each day. That said it is relatively more commercially competitive than other properties of the same category.

Stayed here twice in April, at the start of our tour and on the last night - didn't want to leave. The hotel isn't in the best location/area but as were on a guided tour that did not matter at all to us . Everything about it shouted LUXURY. The staff were efficient and very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for everyone we came into contact with. Food amazing - anything anyone of any nationality could ever wish for and the choice was second to none. Rooms were lovely from the large deep bath to the even larger kingsize bed - we had our best nights here in this hotel. The first room, although wonderful inside, had the view at the back of the hotel which wasn't the best - a wasteland where staff could be seen urinating in the ditches- so when we got a room at the front on the last night we were pleased..This overlooked the swimming pool and surrounding area and was definitely better than the first one. The bar at night had amazing views onto a glass atrium with gas lights and fountains creating a peaceful ambience - very restful and very pretty. Drinks and food could be taken out there but, mindful of mosquitos, we didn't venture but it did look so inviting. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and if I did return to Surajkund this would be the one I would make a beeline for. Loved it!!
