Stones throw from Tin Hau station. Very clean and comfortable rooms (a little small though), attentive staff with great restaurant that offers 35% discount to guests so don't bother searching anywhere else for breakfast, the buffet was good. If you want to stay on HK island and want something clean, affordable with great views, look no further. Can have no complaints. BEWARE: Do not use their laundry service, couldn't believe the price but my fault for not properly reading all the info. $80AUD ($800HKD) approx for 5 t-shirts, a pair of pants and a few socks and underwear. Ridiculously expensive.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon. The views from our room were amazing and the room was clean and tidy. The location is great as there is the main road (and station) up the road but you're far enough way to not hear the noise. The roof top pool was quite cold on the first day we arrived but by the second day it was fine (not sure if we got used to it) The gym has very limited equipment. The trams are amazing as you can travel anywhere for about 23p!!! The breakfast was good. The only down side is that there are only 3 lifts that service the whole hotel so there is some waiting to do!!! Also considering Hong Kong is bursting with technology, their internet is soooooo slow!!! We wanted to view our wedding photos which had just been made "live" on the internet but we had a nightmare!

This is the 2nd hotel I've stayed in the Causeway Bay area this year. I stayed 1 night only as I was intransit in Hong Kong. As such, I wasn't to picky about which hotel I'd be staying in. I didn't expect much but am very glad to say that I should... I was pleasantly surprised every minute of my stay. From how the hotel looked & felt - the photos don't do it justice. It isn't magnificent but it looked new, clean, bright and upbeat. Front desk & doormen were all friendly & cheerful. Check-in & check-out were both efficient. Hotel was busy when I was there. The lounge was well-patronized and cozy. You get a welcome drink on check-in. Location was spot-on. There's an MTR station a stone's throw away (you will not break sweat walking there). The free shuttle from the Hong Kong Station of the Airport Express services this hotel. Lots of taxis plying the street in front of the hotel. 10-15 mins' taxi ride away from Lan Kwai Fong & HRC. Plenty of eating choices in the surrounding streets - noodles, roast meat, Japanese, Thai, Indian, higher-end western eateries). There's a 24-hour convenience store a few doors away and a corner grocer too. I got a standard-type room on one of the higher floors. There was a fruit platter and cookies waiting in the room. Bathroom was sizable considering the overall size of the room. Room was comfortably sized - for a hotel on Hong Kong Island. The room was well-kept and clean, everything looked new-ish. Only downside was the patchy wired broadband. For a quick one-night layover, this went perfectly on all counts.

On celebrating our wedding anniversary we decided to visit Hong Kong and chose this hotel as our base, and what a good choice it was! Firstly, the location of the hotel is far enough away from the crowds to be quiet and to get a good rest, but close enough to all the hot spots to feel not too isolated. The rooms are well appointed and clean, but don't expect large rooms as you would find in the US or Europe. With space at a premium in HK, the rooms are quite small but perfecally functional. In my opinion, this is not an issue. If your in HK, you need to be out and about experiencing this wonderful city and not sitting in your bedroom! There is a small gym on the room with an adjoining swimming pool (both of which we didn't use) but the view was spectacular! The hotel has a good restaurant on the second floor, whilst the bar (with live music) is located on the first floor next to the reception, and offers happy hour deals on drinks every day. Both facilities are clean and the staff are most helpful and efficient. The hotel is also literally across the road from Tin Hau MTR station, The MTR serves both Hong Kong Island (using the Island Line) and the mainland (changing at Admiralty or Central stations), and is a great way to get around. Our advice is to buy an Octupus card from the station which will cost you $HK150. You can top up the amount on your card at most 7-eleven and Circle K shops and gives you access to the MTR, bus and tram options. Whatever you dont use, you can redeem at the end of your visit at any MTR station and you will get your unused credit and your $HK50 depost back! Taxi's are fairly cheap and can be hailed from the street.

My Wife and I stopped here for 3 nights at the start of our Far East holiday in April - it was a great choice..on arrival at 17:30 we were checked in without any waiting or delay and were delighted to have been given an upgrade to a harbour view room, the reception staff were a delight, friendly polite and very happy in their work. Our bags were brought up to us again by a friendly and polite bell boy. The room was a decent size, more than big enough for us for three nights, with a good size Desk and a comfortable arm chair...there was a mini bar with a bit of spare room for your own stuff...The hotel Bar is very good, nicely laid out and reasonably priced, a happy hour runs for about 5 hours a night???? where most drinks are buy one get one free..bar food is very good in there too...We ate breakfast one morning in the hotel only, it was ok, the standard hotel buffet affair with foods from all continents provided, it was ok but not brilliant and was quite expensive. The other two mornings we ate locally outside the hotel, Talking of which there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel and it felt safe outside at all times..if you want to venture further afield Taxis are very cheap, no where seemed to cost more than $60HK. The park is a 3 or 4 minute walk and you can cross this into causeway bay where there is shopping to last you a life time. 300 meteres from the hotel is a metro station which will enable you to criss cross the islands easily - tip get a octopuss card...so simple so efficient and so cheap. Back to the hotel on arrival back at our room on the second day a bottle of champagne and a cake were waiting in our room from the management for my wife's birthday, an excellent touch. The hotel has an outdoor rooftop pool and the weather was kind enough to let us try it one afternoon, it was nice, an excellent view can be had from here..... to summarise - a great hotel with nice size rooms, excellent friendly professional and polite staff in all areas, clean and modern looking in a great area to use as a base. Would definitely return here again.
