I really loved staying here because staff were so friendly. It made me feel like I was home.

Before I booked, my friend gave me two recommendations, the Marriott and the Fleming's. I desperately needed Wi-Fi in the room, so i thought the Marriott would be the better bet. On my way there I accidentally passed by Fleming's pulled over, went inside and was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. They had Internet in the room, so I looked not further. I got room 111 towards the back. The room was wonderfully clean and fresh, with 3 delicious apples on a white plate, nicely styled but not overdone. The best thing however is the shower that is a glass cubicle that stands basically isolated in the middle of the room and separates the sleeping area from the wet zone. It certain can be very alluring if you share the room with a good looking partner or a bit of a nightmare if....well you know what i mean. Another good thing was the sound docking station for the i-pod. The Bar is nice and the Restaurant I could also recommend had the cook not completely overcooked my hamburger, which was a real pity because the rest was very nicely done and presented. But that meat must have been fried for like 20 minutes to the extent where all its juices had evaporated and it was almost impossible to cut let alone chew. I wondered why the waitress did not ask me how I would like my burger done...but then thought they cannot do much wrong on a hamburger. They could! So if you decide on the burger - make sure you order it the way you want it. Never the less, I fully and wholeheartedly recommend this charming well managed hotel.

The hotel is a short tram ride from the main train station. No problem if you have the tram number and the name of the stop right across from the hotel. Ask the hotel or at the tram office by the stop across from the train station. Although it's located in an older building in an older neighborhood, we were immediately impressed by the modern hip style of the rooms. The bistro in the hotel was excellent for dinner. Our price included breakfast which was very expansive including eggs cooked to order. As mentioned by others, the room has a glass enclosed shower that hides nothing.

I stay here at least once a year whilst visiting Frankfurt for business. It's not luxurious or very fancy, but it's a nice place to stay. It's walking distance to the Messe, and if it's too cold for you the tram stops virtually outside the hotel (and your Messe entrance card is valid for the tram too). Unfortunately, the rate during the fair does increase substantially, and there is a minimum 4 night stay. The glass showers make sharing a room difficult with all but the most intimate companions. Otherwise the rooms are spotlessly clean, simple and modern, perhaps bordering on a little bare. Some of the rooms can be on the small side (in the front) and some are enormous (ground floor suites at the back). Your keycard is required to access your floor and to open your door, so don't forget it. The room numbers projected onto the floor are a nice, funky touch. The beds are comfortable. Free Wi-Fi! And make sure your rate includes the really fantastic breakfast buffet. It features the best of the lovely on-premises bakery and deli counter, along with delicious eggs, sides, fresh fruits and cereals. The gym is extremely basic and in the basement, making it easy to skip your morning workout. The service is really outstanding, friendly and personable. The staff always do their best to accommodate any request, even going so far as to buy 20 kilos of German cheese for us and preparing it for air travel. Close to the hotel are a number of small restaurants and various small bodega style stores. I don't know if it's the best location for sightseeing in Frankfurt as we're usually working the entire time that we're there. This is an easy property to recommend.

I had a twin/double room (2 beds pushed together) which was very spacious with a decent flat-screen TV, an ipod dock, free apples and some chocolates. The bed was comfortable - not supreme luxury, but not bad at all - and everything was nicely laid out and clean. The location of the hotel is a bit off the beaten track but the benefit of that is that it is nice and quiet! And it's not miles from anywahere - t's c.5 mins by tram to the hauptbahnhof/city centre, 2 mins to the messe and a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants around Bockenheimer Warte. The breakfast I had was very nice - eggs/bacon cooked to order and a really good selection of cold cuts, breads, pastries cereals etc etc. Can't really comment on the value though as I stayed here during the motor show and paid €325 for a night which isn't good value anywhere! It will obviously be a lot cheaper in non-fair weeks and if it's pricing is in-line with the other Flemings places then I would say it would be very good value.
