First of all, the location is great because it is just away from the busy, noisy port/harbor area but it is within very close walking distance to all the action. The staff is very nice, especially in the restaurant/bar area. We even found a nice note on our car upon leaving indicating they cleaned our dirty windshield for us for our safety and comfort! Our room was spacious, clean, with free wifi that was quite reliable. The art in the room made us laugh (we had a blown up tapestry of an old chinese man with long white beard, which we nicknamed Zhang Laoshi), and I took great shots of the art elsewhere displayed on the premises. The price of the nespresso in the room was disappointing given the price of the hotel. For a high end luxury hotel it should have been free coffee in room. It was not pretentious like the stuffy Sofitel across the street and the parking situation was awesome. Great price, secure and convenient. I would definitely go back and stay at this modern, cool and service oriented hotel again.

At first glance the hotel seemed very fresh: staff were dressed in a sporty manner, the entrance was spacy and open and the corridors were illuminated in a very colourful manner. The room we got was large; bed and bathroom were comfortable and there was free access to internet. On the downside, the window didn't close tightly and as it was rather windy during our stay, the wind noise from the window was very annoying (we fixed that by insulating with a bunch of napkins). Further, despite a large desk at the room, there were no free electrical plugs, so it was either power to the computer or to the lamp on the floor. We parked at the nearby parking garage at which the hotel offered a very beneficial rate compared to normal price. The location of the hotel is within 10 minutes of walking to the old port and the city. Would I come back? If I were to pay for myself, I would try another hotel, but if I were invited, I would go there again.

The hotel (modern, clean) is situated in the middle between the old center of Marseille ( vieux port/old harbor) and the way to the "corniche", which means the way toward the beaches, which I would recommend as a wonderful trip. So, you don't have the noise of the hotels situated near the old harbor which is awfully touristic. A parking for your car is just beside the hotel. Staff is incredible nice even if their clothes are awfully "american way". You can walk to the old town by feet, but it takes you more than 15 minutes. If you take the car, just drive right on and park your car at Charles de Gaulle parking. 3 minutes. The hotel is, on my appreciation, the best situated. Very next, you have a fantastic view to the famous Chateau d'If and the islands beside. You have also an direct access to the tunnel leading to the airport, or otherwise towards Toulon, Cassis and the wonderful "Calanques". The "baggagiste" (excellent advices!!)of the hotel will ceratinly explain you how to get to the amazing Calanque of Sormiou. We loved the hotel, as well as Marseille and we will certainly choose this hotel again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Room nicely decorated and comfortable. Well sound proofed. Incredibly over-priced Nespresso capsules! Breakfast ok but not great (was included in the room price, had we payed separately for it we would have been disappointed). Pool closed for refurbishment but looked nice for a summer dip (in March it wasnt quite the weather anyway!). Room service choice not great and over-priced - especially in comparison to restaurant. Would go back only if had a special offer (ie think full price is too much for what you get)

Rooms are large, new and really attractive. All the Hotel is an "art Hotel". Prices are totally adequate to the services offered. Restaurant and bar are very good and not expensive. The breakfast is well prepared and served. All the staff is really gentle and try to do its best. The Hotel is in a magnificent position and is also served by a bus directed to the Vieux Port. One of the best choice in Marseille.
