This hotel sits in the main city of Copenhagen, at a quite surrounding and a beautiful lake before the hotel gives it an immense glory. The main market of copenhagen can be covered by a walk from this hotel. I luved the danish breakfast and the breakfast at this hotel was soothing my taste buds! Hotel is clean and staffs were well behaved and always willing to help though a foreigner, I felt native staying at this hotel for around 25 days.. Good pick for a business travel

The hotel promises much more than it can deliver, the rooms we had were tiny and the bathroom quite basically furnished, a little disappointing for a 4 star hotel. the bed was too small for my husband and i but the quality of the sheets was remarkable. reading lights were barley enough and the curtains did not block the morning light. with all the above problems we still loved the kong arthur because of the service we got there; the helpful directions, wonderful recommendations, beautiful smiles and patient explanations are so welcoming that all problems pale and are solved quickly with a smile. our bedroom curtains were stapled by the lovely Mahsa so our second and third nights in the hotel were prolonged, we slept much better thank you! The location is quite central and taxis are quick and plenty. We'll certainly come back but we'll choose a junior suite next time .

Sutuated on the lakeside, the hotel is in a fairly quiet location for central Copenhagen. It is however a fairly long walk to get right to the centre (Tivoli, railway station, tourist information, tour starting points etc.) - probably 15-20 minutes walk in total. Norreport station and the shops round there are closer though - maybe 10 minutes walk. My room was a little small but well appointed with flat screen TV, toiletries etc. Bed was comfortable, shower could also have been a little larger. Staff were friendly and helpful and of course everyone speaks english. Breakfast under the glass roof was fine. Recommended overall as a good base in this underrated city.

The hotel is located well, short walking distance to Norrebro station with connections to anywhere in the city and anywhere in Denmark and Sweden. Pluses: Rooms are in a very good condition and windows can be opened. Good restaurants at the hotel and in the neighbourhood. Bed was just right for me. Minuses: The window curtains are not very wide and were difficult to close fully. Could not use wifi, it was unsure whether it was free or not. The minibar cannot be used as a freezer as was auto-billing if you move the drinks!

Very large room with comfortable king bed and a full size coach, including flat sceened tv. The only problem was the lighting in the room, it was very dark. If you wanted to read, it was too dark. The hotel was located with many afforable dining options within 2 or 3 blocks. We also ate in the hotel's italian restaurant, La Rocca. It was good but pricey as all of Copenhagen is pricey. We were there in May and the weather was cool. But the hotel has no air conditioning. Don't know how it would be in the summer. The windows do open. The front desk was pleasant and helpful.
