I have been in this hotel several times, alone, for bussiness. I have a good memory about nice rooms and restaurants. The Spa is really great , after a day of work you can relax , have a sauna, a massage or swim. Is really clean and chic and professionally , separated between men and women. The location is not so great if you want to go out on foot but is very near to the subway and I had not problems to go around.

Our rooms were equipped with everything you could need. Bathroom walls & shower were a beautiful brown stone marbled with white. Comfortable beds & high quality sheets.

Very nice hotel in Pudong, close to all the Pudong sights and across the street from the Metro. Had a one bedroom suite and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The lunch/dinner buffet is delicious, and worth the price, not your typical buffet, and they have foods from all over the world, the sushi and sashimi was fresh and tasted great. The E bar was nice also, with great views of the Pudong skyline and the band is good too!

I usually try & avoid staying Pudong side of Shanghai as it is a bit sterile but The Eton is an exception. A well run hotel, good location & wonderful views. We had 2 Executive Rooms on a high up floor. They were clean & excellently appointed with views overlooking the Lujiazui Financial District & Huangpu River. The free internet was a plus. The executive lounge had a good breakfast every morning with lots of variety & a nice array of food and drinks during the evening. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The only negative is not about the hotel itself but more to do with Pudong area - lack of nearby restaurants and places within walking distance. The hotel is lucky enough to have an excellent location in Pudong itself ( restaurants aside) - the subway is across the road ( Pudong Ave on line 4 ) so it is very easy to get to places across the river. There is also the ferry an 8 minute walk away. Along the Huangpu river near the hotel is also a nice landscaped walking area which is good for a stroll to see across the river & watch the sand barges going up & down. To sum up I can't really think of any negatives and we had a very enjoyable stay.

The Eton has shown that they know how to treat business travelers for short and long stays. Michael Ow the General Manager has a great staff that go out of their way to make your stay very enjoyable. I would rate this hotel very high for everything from food to room rates and close to subway lines that can get you to any location in Shanghai. I have stayed at the Eton many times during my business here in Shanghai and have been always satisfied. I look forward to continue coming back and enjoy the great service that I have received, I want to especially thank Mr. Hua and Mr. Davy and Richard the Bellman for their continued support.
