Location is great and breakfast felt quite adequate. There was mold in the bathroom shower although I agree that the shower heads are nice. The beds were acceptable and we only had one big turn off. When we asked the front desk to call a specific cab company for us that was R$20 less expensive than the one they wanted to use, they said we would have to give them the number and seemed quite put out.

Would definitely recommend this hotel, it Is at the start of cobacabana beach at the leme end which is slightly quieter. Pluses - super big and comfortable beds - location, on beach front. 5 min walk from Copacabana palace hotel - very helpful staff with trips etc - big and spacious hotel rooms - good buffet breakfast -super powerful hot shower Negatives - if you are looking for 5 star plush this is not it but it is a good clean hotel in great location, would recommend

Leme Othon Palace is a great hotel. I stayed in Rio for the weekend after a business trip and found the hotel great, both, in terms of location and in terms of standard. I had a superior room facing Copacabana beach which was very clean and very well equipped. I have seen other hotels in Rio, which can clearly not compare to Leme Othon Palace! If you are looking for a well located, safe and clean place to stay, you should choose this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was also nice! If I come back to Rio, I will definitely book this hotel again!

We arrived after a long flight to Rio and were immediately welcomed - actually more than welcomed! I am still unsure why we received such wonderful perks for our one-night stay, but it certainly made us feel special. Our room faced the beach and the view was absolutely beautiful. Rio beaches are wide and very beautiful. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious as well. But what really deserves extra kudos is how the staff pitched in to assist us when my prearranged tour driver was unable to provide the service. A hotel staff member contacted someone who was there in less than 10 minutes and saved the day! We were able to see a number of great Rio sights although our time was short. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio. I hope we can return someday!

Location is good but not better than other hotels in Copacabana. Cafeteria is small and crowded over the weekend breakfast, food is basic and coffee TERRIBLE. Front desk and housekeeping services are kind and efficient, the dry cleaning charge for ironing a night dress for my wife was too expensive. My beach front room size was good, window size not so good. The worst part was the closet: one single space with a hangers bar across and a counter table also across, and that's it! There is no shelving or drawers, not one drawer in the room, very inconvenient. Having stayed at other Othon Hotels in Brasil I expected more.
