About a 10 min walk from Grand Place and located right next to their main shopping place. The location was somewhat odd but overall was a good deal. The hotel service was very good and more than willing to help us with all of our questions. Only complaint we had was that they advertise a/c and yet there was none in the room. Not unbearable but we still were rather warm each night.

The plaza hotel has a good location just in the center of Brussels near the old historical center and near the central station as well. We stayed with my boyfriend for one night in a deluxe room. The room itself is at a decent size and The bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning has nothing special but enough in choice and quantity to fill up before a long day walk !

This is a hotel with great service, elegant public areas. Nice large rooms, some have the shower separate from the bath tubs, some not. As all bathrooms seem large enough to have separate shower I am a litle surprised that they have not done this. Otherwise the rooms are large, comfortable with sufficient amenities. The breakfast is a litle limited compared to the elegance and price of the hotel. The bar is nice, friendly service and good ambiance. The restaurant is really only an area in the bar. I found the service a litle slow, and the food a litle lacking in quality. Location of this hotel is good about 15 minutes walk to Grand Place and Metro just around the corner.

My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel right in the heart of Brussels for a short Easter break. Location is perfect for visiting the city on foot and all the main attractions were within a short walk. The welcome we received was pleasant - staff were friendly and courteous at all times. The foyer area is calm and tastefully decorated. The rooms were well equipped and spotlessly tidy. It is with pleasure that I can recommend this hotel to fellow travellers.

As a frequent traveler, there were a few good points I need to concede: helpful and cheery staff, plentiful towels in the large bathroom, decent room service food. Free wifi is also a plus and plenty of in TV channels in several languages. However, for the price (albeit Brussels is overpriced in general) this place is just a sad shadow of what it could be with a bit of a revamp. It looks like its heyday was in the early 1900s and not much has changed since then...in a bad way. The breakfast buffet is below average and costs 29 euro when not included in the room rate. The (perhaps) once grand hotel is creaking with dirty carpets, cracked paint everywhere and drab finishings. Location? Convenient, but with a sex shop right in front, not too classy or romantic.
